Nightmares of the wet kind
Saturday, October 31st, 2009What a time I’ve had of late it all commenced with a problem with my bath leaking well anyhow I tried to find a localised plumber in the local phone directory – who would appear within a week no chance there Anyway I determined to do a search on google for Plumber in Newcastle. Hit gold with that one there they where online .In Any Event I used the contact form and within about 15 minutes I had a phone call to arrange an appointment .That’s what I call service.To cut a long story short they came out the said day and where rather a bit cheaper than the company who would not get to me for nearly a week.
Not long after the first problem was settled don’t I get a telephone call from a friend alleging someone has rammed into his motorcar from behind and are denying any obligation. Not truly certain how that goes as they clearly rammed into his car. Well hot on my success with google and the phantom plumbers don’t I get online and go looking for a Newcastle Solicitor for him. Merely on the off chance that his policy has some small little clause about legal costs who knows?
On a lighter note someone I know has made up one’s mind to expend some of their redundancy on buying a car cleaning business. Not quite positive if they have done as much research as they should ahead of going for it .I have assured them that they need a Newcastle Accountant to look at the account books as these people recognise precisely what they are looking at. For the price it could well spare him thousands if the business concern is going to fold or with a bit of luck the accountant will turn around and say that it seems like a moneymaking business go for it.
So all in all the last few weeks have been quite eventful around here. Looking ahead to a few dull weeks now with no leaks or phone calls about car accidents.
